Our student and alumni inventors have harnessed the power of technological innovation to create change on a local, national and international level. Student technologies are already impacting the defense, energy, biomedical, entertainment and consumer goods industries.

Student-developed technologies include a land-mine detonating robot, biodegradable laundry detergent capsules, an edible taste-marketing system and a hip replacement stent for prosthetic devices. Ongoing projects like the after-school science and technology club for West Philadelphia elementary school students are engaging a broader community in our mission and inspiring hope for the future.
