The "Second Best Idea Slam" is a new contest designed to help connect good ideas with the people who are willing and able to develop them. Any Penn student may participate, and everyone who submits an idea is eligible to win a prize!

Here's how it works:

STEP 1: Log on to the Darwinator here

STEP 2: Follow the instructions to submit your idea. (Don't have an idea? Check out our "FREE IDEAS" page, select an idea and make it your own!)

STEP 3: Evaluate and rank 20 other submissions.

The Submission Round has been extended to February 5th. The Evaluation Round will last from February 5th - 10th. The Darwinator software will then generate the top 10 highest rated ideas. You will be notified if your idea is selected.

Finalists will present their idea at the "Idea Slam" on February 16th. All members of the Penn community are invited to attend the "Idea Slam" where they will have a chance to hear pitches, interact with the finalists, and vote for their favorite idea! The winners will receive prizes like iPod shuffles and all in attendance will have an opportunity to discuss future collaborations!
