The Weiss Tech House will be hosting Innovation Week from November 13th-15th with various engagements regarding entrepreneurship. Food and refreshments will be served at all events! The events are as follows:

Tuesday, 6-7pm, Huntsman 240:

Come listen to Dr. David Issadore, Assistant Professor of Bioengineering, discuss his work in medical diagnostics. Dr. Issadore has been applying his knowledge in physics and electrical engineering to make advancements in the field of medicine. His work focuses on the d

evelopment of advanced diagnostic devices that detect bacterial diseases and cancer. These devices are cheaper, automated, portable, and more sensitive than those used today and can be used in third-world countries. In the past, he has created hybrid microfluidic chips and a portable Nuclear Magnetic Resonance system used to detect tuberculosis. Dr. Issadore offers a unique perspective on idea formation and innovation in a collaborative research setting.Wednesday, 7-8pm, Huntsman F65:The Weiss Tech House and Penn International Sustainability Association will be co-hosting a panel on the Innovation behind Clean Technology. Come discuss with our panelists to learn more about how you can be involved in innovation through clean technology in the Penn community. Panelists will consist of Jason Halpern (W’10, E’10, EG’10) of PowerFlower Solar and Gridless Power, Stevan Jovanovic (WG’13) of SustainX, and Madison Roberts (C’14) of the Student Sustainability Association at Penn.Thursday, 12-1pm, Weiss Tech House:
